AUGUSTA, Ga. – Mr. Robert Charles Frenzel, Sr., 67, husband of Connie Poole Frenzel and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leo Frenzel of Winter Park, FL and formerly of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, entered into rest Thursday, March 19, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Frenzel is formally of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, Atlanta, GA, and Dataw Island, SC. He graduated Austin Catholic Prep in Grosse Pointe and Loyola University in Chicago. IL. After being Partner with Touche Ross and President of Prudential Bank & Trust, Mr. Frenzel retired from Advanced Control Systems as CFO.
Survivors include his daughter: Dr. Kristen Frenzel-Craighead (Marc) of Atlanta and his sons: Robert C. Frenzel, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Bryan T. Frenzel of Atlanta, GA and Jeffery S. Frenzel of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by two granddaughters: Alice and Audrey Craighead of Atlanta, GA and his sister: Mary Anne Gargaro (Eugene) of Grosse Pointe Shores, MI.
The family will receive friends and family at the home on Saturday, March 21, 2009 between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.
A memorial service will take place at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 805 Mt. Vernon Hwy in Atlanta, GA on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M.
