Muriel A. Pollock

Augusta, GA – Muriel A. Pollock, 90, met her Lord and Savior face to face on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Muriel was born in Riverside, CA, and was a resident of the CSRA since the 1970’s. Muriel faithfully served the Lord her entire adult life as a Church member, Sunday School teacher, Women’s Ministry speaker and camp counselor.

Muriel was a Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother & friend who loved unconditionally. She prayed daily for all she knew and loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Dorothy MacGlashan, her husband Stephen D. Pollock, her siblings, Clarence MacGlashan, Jr & Mary Wood, her children Dotty Thomas & Fred Pollock, and her grandson Donald Ginn.

Left to mourn her loss are her children Stephen Pollock, Jr., Kathy Anderson, & Kevin Pollock (Andrea). Grandchildren Patricia Valdes, Lisa Sitler, Steve Pollock, Chris Pollock, Amanda Bryant, Justin Pollock, Cindy Mitchem, Christopher Pollock, Melissa Cornett, Tasha Aguirre, Wesley Thomas, Tina Weathers, Amy Harp, Sophie Pollock, Ivey Pollock, Lexi Pollock, Kelley Nile, & Margie Anderson, and many Great & Great-great Grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to granddaughter Tina Weathers for serving as a faithful caregiver for many years.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Scott Hearn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
