Myrna Elizabeth Harrell

Evans, GA – Mrs. Myrna Elizabeth Harrell entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late James V. Harrell, with whom she shared a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to family.

Myrna was a woman whose heart overflowed with kindness, compassion, and joy. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found her greatest purpose and happiness in caring for her family and making those around her feel loved. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting presence of someone who truly cherished others.

She had a lively spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room. She never met a shopping trip she didn’t enjoy and delighted in finding little treasures and trinkets that brought happiness to both herself and those she loved. She also found peace and joy in God’s creation, especially watching the cardinals gather in her yard and faithfully keeping the squirrels well fed.

A faithful and devoted member of West Acres Baptist Church, Myrna lived her life with quiet faith and a servant’s heart. Her gentle spirit, loving nature, and unwavering love for her family reflected the grace she carried throughout her life. Though her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in knowing she is now reunited in Heaven with those who went before her and rests eternally in God’s perfect peace.

Family members include her daughters: Renee H. Hurnyak (John) and Tonya H. Bisel (Jerry); daughter-in-law: Lynn Harrell; companion: Roger Hurnyak; grandchildren: Brandon, Holly, Adam, and Brittany Hurnyak (Ryan), D’Andre Dismuke, Zachery Davis (Hannah), and Kelsey Williams (Terance); and great-grandchildren: Naomi, Emmett, and Emerie Davis, and Isabelle Williams.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Lois Bruce; her son, Ricky Harrell; and her brother, Kenneth Bruce.

Myrna’s family will forever treasure the love, laughter, wisdom, and beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Malone Morris officiating. Interment will be at 4:00PM in Eatonton Memorial Park.
