Myrtle Louise Warren

Myrtle Louise Warren, 89 years young, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Myrtle was originally raised in Derby, NC until moving to Augusta in 1964 where she was a resident for 30 years before moving to Martinez, Georgia. She was a loving mother and wife. Myrtle had a 31-year career at Gracewood State Hospital which she loved. She was a woman of faith.

Family members include her daughters: Deborah A. Barnes, Daisy D. Mabry and stepdaughter: Cathy A. Hartley (Steve); sons: William D. Hooker and Ronald D. Hooker (Sylvia) 12 grandchildren; 19+ great-grandchildren; and one surviving brother: Billy Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her stepson: Terry Warren; two husbands: Willliam Doyle Hooker “Buck” and Donald Warren.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Don Prosser officiating.
