Robert J. Hillman

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024, Mr. Robert J. Hillman, 102, loving husband of 74 years to the late Betty Nadine Hillman. 

Mr. Hillman was a native of Ohio but spent many years in Augusta. He graduated from Kent State University and was a WWII veteran, having served in the Air Force. He retired from Goodyear Tire as an accountant. Mr. Hillman was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Family members include his son: John and his wife Sandra; three grandsons: William, Johnathan (Shana), and Justin (Kayle); six great grandchildren; and other loving family members. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 402 Aumond Road, Augusta, GA 30909 or to a charity of one’s choice.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 3:00 P.M. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Roger Schwartz officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 P.M., at the church. Interment will follow the service at Westover Memorial Park.
