Robert Lee McCranie

Augusta, GA – Robert Lee McCranie passed away at his home on November 1, 2025. He was born in Dallas, Texas, but spent most of his life in Augusta.

Bob graduated from the Academy of Richmond County and attended the University of Georgia. He was known for his amiable personality and sense of humor, as well as being an amateur writer and painter.

Bob is survived by his children Katrina and Zach; his five grandchildren, Marlon, Alex, Ezra, Caden and Aspen, his sister Nancy Higgins and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Martha McCranie and his sister, Elizabeth DelGenio.

The funeral service will be private.
