Ronald Leroi Peterson

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, February 13, 2026, Ronald Peterson, 87, husband of the late Lillian Peterson.

Ronald was a huge Oklahoma University fan. He received his Masters Degree at OU and his Bachelor’s Degree at Michigan State. He spent two years in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League in Aiken, SC for over 25 years. Ronald could often be seen watching all Oklahoma University sports, as well as Fox News to stay up to date with current events. He loved his wife Lillian of 31 years and missed her dearly after she passed July 27, 2025.

Family members include his daughters: Deborah Ashcraft (Rodney), Kathleen Thompson (Brad), and Cheryl Spindler (Todd); grandchildren: Ashley Stribling (David), Kristen Dear, and Mark Spindler; and ex son-in-law: Randy Dear.

He is preceded by his wife, Lillian Peterson and by his daughter, Shannon Peterson.
