Roy "Jimmy" Hubbard

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 4, 1952, Roy “Jimmy” Hubbard, 73, loving husband of Faye Orander Hubbard.

A native of Augusta, Jimmy was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. He proudly served his country as a bomb loader in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-1975, and later, he worked as a metrologist at the Savannah River Site. He was an active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for twenty-five years, where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Men’s Ministry, Choir, and Awana.

Family members include his wife: Faye Orander Hubbard; sons: Matt Hubbard (Jennifer) and Clint Hubbard (Becky); grandchildren: Kaitlyn Hubbard, Hayden Graham, Jeremiah Hubbard, Grace Hubbard, Wyatt Hubbard, Hazel Hubbard, Levi Hubbard, and Eli Hubbard; and brothers: Larry Hubbard (Ann) and Glenn Hubbard (Lynn).

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Roy and Hazel Hubbard; and son: Derek Hubbard.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Rockefeller and Rev. Rene Garcia officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4943 Columbia Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
