Russell Norman Greiner

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, November 23, 2025, Russell Norman Greiner, 89.

Russell began working at Sanderson’s Barbershop in 1962, taking over the business in 1991 which led to his opening of Russell’s Barbershop. He served in the U.S. Army in 1957. Russell was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Family members include his daughter: Deidre Greiner (Terri); grandchildren: Amie Peace (Tommy), John Greiner, Christa Greiner, Katie Eidenier (Peyton), Todd Lamb (Laura), Zack Lamb (Amber), and Cameron Lamb (Lou); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister: Doris Lumpkin.

He is remembered for the love he shared with his first wife Katie, and later with his second wife Joyce, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is preceded in death by his sons: Reg Greiner and Chris Greiner; sisters: Katie Chester and Carolyn Thomas; and brother: Walter Greiner.

The family would like to thank Enhabit Home Health and Hospice and also The Claiborne at Westlake for the wonderful care of Russell.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Scott Bedgood officiating.
