Ruth Taylor

Augusta, GA – Ruth Taylor, 89 went home to be with her Savior, her husband of over 64 years and her 3 sons on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Ruth was born in Unicoi County, TN and was the seventh born of 18 children to Myrtle and William Tipton. She worked as a CNA at Eisenhower Medical Center. Ruth lived a great life and loved her family.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Brenda Taylor Bartholomew and son-in-law Donald Bartholomew. She has 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and sons, Ruth was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, her parents and 15 siblings.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Branton Treglown officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
