Sandra (Sandy) Morris Landrum

(1/12/1951-7/11/2025)

Sandy Morris Landrum, 74, entered into eternal paradise on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Sandy was born and raised in Martinez, Georgia. She graduated from Evans High School in 1969 and worked at American Carpet One as an office manager, where she retired after 40+ years. Growing up, Sandy was a “smoke show” homecoming queen who could often be found in a bikini on a beach somewhere or playing pool in a dive bar with a trail of broken hearts behind her. If you met her, you immediately knew she was a strong and independent woman. She was a single mother to Tara and always made sure there was food on the table and clothes on their backs. Tara considered their relationship not only as mother and daughter but as friends (and they bickered like it too- some say it’s a miracle they both survived Tara’s teen years). The best day of her life was the day she became Mimi to Payton and Emersyn. Sandy was an active Mimi- always coloring, playing dress up, or swimming with her girls. Mostly, she enjoyed spending her time with her family outside gardening or near a body of water with a beer in hand, whether it was the lake, the pool, or Tybee Island beach.

Sandy is survived by her daughter Tara Crabb, son-in-law Tommie Crabb Jr., and granddaughters Emersyn and Payton Crabb. Her siblings, Sam Morris, Tammy Blasko (spouse Geno), and Joyce Morris. Her nieces and nephews, Hunter Morris (spouse Morgan Hunter), Amber Morris (fiancée Gatlyn Smith), Brian Tabb (spouse Mary), Steven Blasko (spouse Sarah and children Samuel and Saylor), Aubrey Morris (spouse Robert and children Josh and Madison), Josh Priester (spouse Tina and children Bailee and Lucas), Margo Johnson, Dawson and Reese Morris , her second daughter Wendy Parker Dalber, her ex-husband Sammy Landrum, and many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her Mama, Martha Delores (Dee) Morris, and Daddy, Richard (Sam) K. Morris Sr., her mother Jeannette Tate Lamar, siblings Richard (Moose) K. Morris Jr. and Billy Morris, sister-in-law Robyn Morris and Helena Morris Dixon, and nephews Ricky Morris and Adam Morris.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 105455, Atlanta, GA 30348 or https://donate.cancer.org/ in honor of Sandy and her relatives who have been affected by this disease.
