Sandra Lou Strausbaugh

     Sandra Lou “Sandy” (Ratliff) Strausbaugh, 78, of Newark, died on Saturday, January 20, 2024, after a brief illness. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, Pleasant View Church/Barnes Cemetery at 6031 Fallsburg Rd NE, Newark, OH. 

     Her family includes her husband of 60 years, Paul; three children, son Brian (daughter-in-law Shawn), daughter Brenda (Frank) and daughter Benea (Richard); four grandchildren, Shelby, Brooke, Talon (Bradlie) and Aiden; brother-in-law, Glenn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dean.

     Sandy was born November 11, 1945, in southern Ohio and moved to Newark when she was a newlywed. She had a great love of reading, trivia, rolling dice in Yahtzee and chocolate. She served faithfully at her church and celebrated her family.
