Syble Hufham

Entered into rest Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Inverness, FL, Mrs. Syble Graves Hufham, 102, wife of the late Louis D. Howard and later David B. Hufham.

Syble was born in Rome, GA and raised in Augusta, GA. She worked for the draft board during WWII and then administrative work for the insurance business. She was a member of Fleming Baptist Church.

Family members include her daughter Tammy Hamilton (Mike) and her two step-daughters, Margaret Fowler (Virgil) and Judy Wood. Her grandchildren include Daniel Hamilton (Kristen), Liana Studdard (Robert), Ryan Atkinson (Heather), Holly Atkinson, Whitney Fowler (Malinda), and Caroline English (Jonathan). Great-grandchildren include Piper, Hudson, Zella, Leighton, Harrison, Carsten, and Hannah.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Reverend Deacon David Wilkie officiating.

A private family graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park prior to the memorial service.
