Terence Patrick Whelan

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest at his residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Mr. Terence Patrick “Terry” Whelan, 68 of Augusta, GA.

Terry was a native of Savannah and graduated from Benedictine Military School and attended Georgia Southern College. He worked as a Co- Conductor for CSX Railroad. Terry was a loving father and was known for his really big heart……

Family members include his son: Ryan & Georgia Whelan Grandchildren Penelope, Patrick, Lillian ; brothers: Brian Whelan (Libby), Eddie Whelan III (Biddy), Matt Whelan (Ashley), and Tim Whelan. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Beth Whelan.

A graveside service at Catholic Cemetery of Savannah will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow.
