Thomas "Tommy" Edward Browning

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025, Thomas Edward Browning, 69, husband of Robin Browning.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, his daughter Lisa Sorrells (David), son Lee Browning, and grandson Hudson Sorrells. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda Anthony, Vickie Wojtaszek (Mike), and Debbie Baxter (Bobby).

Mr. Browning was predeceased by his parents James and Daisy Browning and his sister Betty McClain.

A brick mason for more than 40 years, Thomas understood the value of things built to last. Be it structures or relationships with family, friends, and colleagues, he believed that the investment of hard work yielded results that would forever stand the test of time. He loved playing golf, hunting, and fishing, but nothing brought him as much joy as spending time with his wife, children, grandson, and loyal canine companions Bella, Olive, Ruby, Beau, and Oaklee.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
