Appling, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, December 21, 2025, Travis Craig Fraser, 50, loving husband of Stephanie Robertson Fraser and father to daughters Bentley and Kelsey.
Travis Craig Fraser was born on June 25, 1975, in Augusta, GA to parents Jerri and Stephen Fraser, grandson of Betty Johnson, Royce and Geraldine Fraser, and brother to Stephanie Michelle Fraser. Additional family includes William Coleman and stepsiblings Trey and Andrew Coleman (son Liam) and Betsy Marshall (son Cole) niece Ella Fraser, brother-in-law, Charles Robertson III, and nieces Ashley and Emma Robertson.
At 17, while attending Lakeside High School, Travis met Stephanie Robertson, daughter of Charles and Monica Robertson, whom he would later marry. Travis attended GSU and AU before earning a degree in Biology. After marrying Stephanie, the couple had two daughters, Bentley and Kelsey.
Travis was a multi-talented person with a brilliant mind. He enjoyed working in the medical field for many years training surgeons how to use new devices. He had many hobbies through the years such as skateboarding as a teenager to golfing and kayaking as an adult. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan attending as many games as possible. He also enjoyed creating saltwater aquariums and designing systems from top to bottom which included his own electrical lighting boards to mimic nature. Travis was also a handyman. He could build anything and made sure every measure was perfect. His greatest love was for his family. He was always there to give them advice, help the girls with homework, bake cookies from scratch, and his favorite thing to do was grill out on his deck. He was the most loving, caring, patient and supportive husband and father who always brought laughter wherever he went. The happiness his daughters brought him was immeasurable, and he was so proud of them. Travis, Stephanie, and their girls enjoyed every adventure from zip lining through the Mexican jungle, multiple cruises to tropical islands, taking boat rides on the lake, going to loads of concerts, snow skiing, camping with friends, going to the Keys, to taking dozens of trips to Amelia Island, Isle of Palms, and Wolf Laurel Mountain over the years. He battled with cancer for over 8 years and was a fighter until the end.
The family would like to thank the family and friends who have helped and supported Travis and his family.
The funeral service will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating.
