Entered into rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Victor “Vic” Anderson, 71, husband of Kathy Anderson.
A native of Paris, Texas, Vic has lived and worked in the Augusta area all of his adult life. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. He is best known as the founder of BAM, LLC., a company that provides construction contracting services all over the world. A loving and devoted husband, father, and brother, Vic was known affectionately as, “Papa Victor,” by his adoring grandchildren. In his spare time, Vic enjoyed boating, fishing, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
In addition to his wife, Kathy, family members include children: Kelley Nile (David), Margie Anderson, Tina Weathers (Chris), and Amy Harp (Wesley); grandchildren: Myranda Nile, Julia Friend (Alex), Chrislyn Windsor (Jared), Meredith Leavitt, Dylan Ginn, Baylin Harp, Eleanna Harp, Ransom Harp, Ava Weathers, and Levi Weathers; great-grandchild: Georgia Harp; siblings: Belinda Christian, Michael Redus (Nancy), and George Anderson; sisters-in-law: Linda Redus and Doris Redus; best friends: Doug Brown, Tim Pettifer, and many other family members and friends.
Vic is preceded by his parents: George and Dorrell Anderson; previous wife: Debbie Anderson; brothers: John Redus and Larry Redus; and son: Donald Ginn.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors. All guests are encouraged to wear red and black in honor of Vic’s beloved Dawgs!
