William Mansfield Faulk, Jr.

Mr. William Mansfield Faulk, Jr., 68, beloved husband of Melinda Little Faulk, entered into rest on September 3, 2025.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors.

Mr. Faulk was a 1974 graduate of Butler High School, a 1978 graduate of Georgia Southern and a 1994 graduate of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Master’s in Divinity. He taught at several schools in the Richmond County School System. Mr. Faulk also pastored three churches, Miracle Baptist, Somerset Baptist and Cedar Springs Baptist. He enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially to Hilton Head.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Faulk is survived by his sons, Stephen Faulk (Nate) and Jonathan Faulk (Jackie); his grandchildren, Jaxson and Jordyn Faulk; his brother, Richard Faulk; and by several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Mansfield Faulk, Sr. and Joyce Creech Faulk; and by his brothers, Allan and Jonathan Faulk.
