Augusta, GA – Jeanne Hom Price, 80, entered into rest Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Survived by her son: James Price of Louisville, KY; sister: Katherine Redd of North Augusta, SC; brother: Gary Hom of North Augusta, SC; niece: Valerie Chow of Brooklyn, NY; daughter-in-law: Daina Price of Louisville, KY; grandson: Zachary Schumann of Redbluff, CA; granddaughter: Kennedy Schumann of Lee’s Summit, MO; and her dog: Darcy of Augusta, GA.

Jeanne was born in NYC but lived in Augusta most of her life. She worked in Ft. Gordon for over 30 years as a personnel processing clerk. She was an avid bowler. She devoted a lot of time to coaching and leading youth bowling in Augusta for many years. She was always crafty and artistic. She developed a love of painting later in life. Jeanne was a loving and devoted mother and sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Local Youth Bowling Organizations.

The memorial service will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Christie McTier officiating.
