Evans, GA – Robert Manual Amy Jr., 79, entered into rest Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Bob was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on July 22, 1944. He met his wife, Carol Anne (Jenney) Amy, when they were in high school and were married in his senior year of college. Bob earned his Physics Degree from Michigan University. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Augusta and a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Teresa of Avila.  Bob had an exceptional career working for IBM which allowed him international travel with his sweetheart. He was a devoted husband and loving father.

Bob is survived by his two daughters Christina Amy (James Lave) and Jennifer Zills (Todd), and his grandchildren Garrett Zills, and Hayley Zills. He is further survived by his siblings Ronald Amy (Sabrina) and Jan Quigg (Dennis). He was preceded in death by his parents Anita Amy and Robert M. Amy, Sr., his brother David Amy, and his beloved wife Carol. 

A memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Ingram celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Teresa’s Columbarium. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
